Consent Kit is now Participant Kit

Today marks a significant shift for us. After six years as Consent Kit, we're changing our name to Participant Kit.
Why the change?
We've outgrown our name.
Back in 2019, we started by fixing consent forms. That made sense—consent was broken, and we wanted to sort it.
But then you asked for more:
2021: "Can it manage participants too?" (We built that)
2022: "What about a proper participant CRM?" (Built that as well)
2023: "Panel recruitment would be helpful" (Took a while, but we got there)
2024: "Scheduling automation?" (Done)
2025: "Incentive tracking?" (Just shipped it)
Here's the thing: consent is now one feature of many. An important feature, sure—but still just a feature.
The problem? When people see "Consent Kit," they think we only do consent. No matter what we build or how we explain it, the name anchors expectations. It's become limiting in ways we didn't anticipate.
So we're changing it to match what we actually do: help you manage the entire participant relationship.
What Participant Kit means
The new name reflects where we've been heading all along: we're about managing the entire participant relationship, not just one part of it.
Participant Kit is about three things:
The participant journey. From recruitment through research to follow-up, we're focused on every touchpoint with the people who make your research possible.
Human relationships, not AI replacements. While others are building AI to conduct interviews or synthetic participants to replace real people, we believe research needs actual human participants and human researchers. Our job is to make managing those relationships easier.
Ethics, accessibility and trust. These values don't change with the name. We're still building for WCAG compliance, GDPR standards, and participant-first design. That's always been core to who we are.
What's changing (and what isn't)
What's new:
Our name: Participant Kit
Our domain: participantkit.com (consentkit.com will redirect)
Marketing materials and website
What's staying the same:
Your account, data and login credentials
All existing features and functionality
Our team and the values that drive our work
Our commitment to participant-first research operations
What you need to do: Nothing, actually. Your account will continue working exactly as it does now. Over the coming weeks, you'll see the new branding appear across the platform, but there's no action required from you.
Looking ahead
We're continuing to focus on what we do best: helping research teams manage participant relationships efficiently and ethically.
We've got a substantial customer-driven roadmap that we're cracking on with. The features we build come directly from the problems you're facing. (Best way to influence that roadmap? Become a customer.)
The name has changed, but the mission hasn't. We're here to make research operations smoother, more accessible, and more participant-focused.
