We're building native calendaring into Participant Kit

New feature

Calendly-level booking experience with EU data residency, built for research. Coming soon.

Spend enough time talking to researchers and research ops people about scheduling, and the same complaints come up over and over.

Microsoft Bookings comes up a lot. One person we spoke to built a PowerPoint deck to teach their colleagues how to use it. That tells you something.

Calendly sets the bar for booking experience. But if you’re an EU-based research team, there’s a catch: it’s US-hosted. We’ve said it ourselves on demos more than once: “It feels odd that we host all our data in the EU, make a big effort to be GDPR compliant, have EU data residency, and then ask participants to schedule on a US-hosted tool.”

The usual EU alternatives are Microsoft Bookings or Google, and that lands you back at the experience problems we started with.

That’s the gap we’re filling. Calendly’s experience, with EU data residency, built natively into Participant Kit.

Early look at calendaring in Participant Kit

Built for research, not bolted on

We’re bringing all our work on inclusive, accessible participant experiences into calendaring built specifically for booking user research sessions. It sits alongside participant management, where it belongs, not added as another third-party integration.

This is early. We’re actively building it and we’ll share more as it takes shape.

Want to try it early?

We’re looking for research teams who’d be willing to test this out as we build it. If that sounds like you, drop us a message via the in-app chat or email support@participantkit.com.
