FAQs

Common questions

Who is Participant Kit for?

Teams who do research with people and need a better way to handle the logistics around it. Consent, scheduling, recruitment, and participant data. That includes UX research teams, research ops, design teams, and agencies.

What does it replace?

The patchwork of tools most teams cobble together. Google Forms for consent, spreadsheets for tracking participants, DocuSign for NDAs, Calendly for scheduling, and email for chasing everything up. Participant Kit brings all of that into one place, purpose-built for research.

What types of research does it support?

Moderated and unmoderated, remote and in-person, one-off studies and ongoing panels. If your research involves participants, Participant Kit handles the governance and logistics around it.

How is Participant Kit different from other research tools?

Most research tools focus on analysis or testing. Participant Kit focuses on the parts everyone else ignores: the governance. Consent, data protection, accessibility, and ethics are built in, not bolted on. Our consent forms meet WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards, we're GDPR specialists, and everything is designed around treating participants with respect.

How long does it take to get set up?

Most teams are up and running within a day. You can start from our templates for consent forms and NDAs, import your existing participant list, and run your first study straight away.
